Note: the Ontario Family Courts normally issue all new litigants with an appointment for a Mandatory Information Program. If you have filed and or been served with Family  Court documents odds are you will already have an appointment to attend the MIP.

This MIP is the government blub, official propaganda on how the courts should work in theory. It sounds great in theory, talks about "mediation", "alternatives to litigation" and "the court process" which is family law in theory which is very different in reality.

If you are male going to Ontario Family Court, you have probably already heard that its a bad place for a father to be, that is riddled in bias, prejudice and corrupt if not illegal practices.

The problem is, the Court's Mandatory Information Program does not explain to fathers just how bad the process is or the vitally necessary steps fathers need to take in order to obtain any sort of justice in family court.  The judiciary and the legal profession treat fathers as second calls human beings. There is an assumption that because mother's give birth therefore they are entitled to custody and to dictate any parenting terms etc.

Most devoted fathers already know that "its a bad place", but they have no idea of just how corrupt and difficult it is in practice.
